Nut Nougat Snacks

The perfect nut nougat snacks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Pck Puff pastry roll
  • 5 tbsp Nut pli or another nut nougat cream
  • 200 g Roasted hazelnuts
  • 100 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 1 Egg
  1. Scatter the ground hazelnuts on a large work board or work surface and place the puff pastry on top. Spread the nut pli evenly on the puff pastry with a knife or a pastry card. Sprinkle the roasted hazelnuts on top. Now carefully roll up the puff pastry from both sides and then cut about 1-2 cm thick slices. Place these slices on a baking sheet and correct the shape if necessary. Whisk the egg and brush the snails with it – this gives them a nicer golden brown color when baking. Bake the snails at 220 ° for about 15 minutes and enjoy them either warm or cold 🙂
