Nutritionist Names Foods That Can Be Eaten at Night

The last meal should be three to four hours before bedtime. It should contain protein and fiber, advised nutritionist Anastasia Stepanenko.

If you feel hungry late at night and want to have a snack, you don’t need to run to the kitchen and grab a chocolate bar or sandwich. Such a snack will not do any good. You need to choose the right foods.

Nutritionist Anastasia Stepanenko advised on Instagram what you can eat before bed if you really want to.

The expert notes that the last meal should be three to four hours before bedtime. It should contain protein and fiber. You can choose the following foods:

  • Vegetables. You can make a vegetable salad, season it with sour cream or natural yogurt, or eat it in its purest form without additives.
  • Fruits. There should not be many of them. It can be tangerine, grapefruit, or apple.
  • Berries.
  • Kefir.

According to the nutritionist, such foods are easy to digest and do not interfere with healthy sleep.
