Oat and curd meatballs

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 200 g oat flakes
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • some broth, granulated
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Chop the garlic, knead it with the quark, eggs, oats, and cheese, and season the mixture with salt, pepper, and vegetable stock. Let it swell for 20 minutes. Cut the chives into small rolls, stir them into the mixture, and form them into finger-thick patties. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the patties over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Serve with béchamel and similar sauces, tartar sauce, and leaf salad.
