Oat flakes – lard – cookies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g lard
  • 125 g margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 small bottle(s) of bitter almond flavoring
  • 200 g oat flakes or coconut flakes
  • 1 jar jam, forest fruit or other

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Make a batter from the ingredients. Form the dough into a moderately large ball with your hands and dip it in cold water. Dip the ball in oatmeal or desiccated coconut and make a hole with your finger. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, not too tightly. Fill a plastic bag with jam. Cut off a corner and feel the cookies. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 15-20 minutes until light golden.
