Oatmeal and quark rolls without flour

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 120 g oat flakes, fine
  • 100 g carrot(s)
  • 270 g Skyr or low-fat quark
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • sesame or sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Peel and grate the carrot. Then mix it with the remaining ingredients. Be careful, the dough will be quite sticky. Form 4 rolls and place them on the baking sheet. Lightly score the surface with a serrated knife. Optionally, sprinkle with sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, or pumpkin seeds. Bake the rolls for about 25-30 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool before eating.
