Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 180 g spelt flour (type 630)
  • 160 g brown sugar
  • ½ tsp iodized salt with fluoride
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 150 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 1 medium-sized egg(s), fresh (organic)
  • ⅛ liter oil (corn oil)
  • ⅛ liter milk (1.5%)
  • 150 g raisins
  • possibly sugar granules

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line two baking sheets with baking paper. Sift the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon into a bowl. Add the sugar, salt, and oats. In a small bowl, whisk the egg, oil, and milk. Stir the mixture into the flour and oat mixture, then fold in the raisins. Drop small portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheets using a teaspoon and flatten slightly. Bake the oat cookies in a preheated oven (180°C fan/gas mark 3-4) for about 15 minutes. Tip: For a change, sprinkle the oat cookies with sugar before baking.
