Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 120 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 tsp flavoring (Citroback)
- 2 eggs
- 150 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 70 g oat flakes
- 100 ml buttermilk
- 80 ml oil
- 200 g currants
- some powdered sugar
- oatmeal
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Mix all the batter ingredients together thoroughly and finally fold in the currants. Pour into muffin cups, top each with a few oat flakes, and bake at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for about 25 minutes. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
