Oatmeal macaroons

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g oat flakes
  • 250 g flour
  • 250 g raisins
  • 125 g currants
  • 50 g candied orange peel
  • 50 g candied lemon peel
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 125 g almonds, sliced
  • 125 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp rum or 1 rum flavoring

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

according to my TikTak grandma’s old recipe, makes about 60 macaroons

Mix all the ingredients together and then place small piles either directly onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper or onto baking sheets. Bake at 180°C until the macarons turn golden brown. These macarons will keep for a very long time and taste simply delicious!
