Oatmeal porridge, grandma's style

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g oat flakes
  • 1,000 ml milk
  • some salt
  • some lemon peel
  • some butter or margarine
  • n. B. sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the oats in a saucepan and stir in the milk and salt. Bring the milk to a boil with the lemon zest and butter, stirring frequently. Allow the oats to swell over low heat, then season with sugar to taste.
