Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 1 small red pepper
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 500 g potato(s), waxy
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the finely diced onion. Halve the bell peppers, carefully remove any seeds, etc., as usual, and cut into strips and then into cubes. Add the pieces to the onions and sauté. Then set aside. Wash and peel the potatoes and cut into 1/2 cm pieces. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the potatoes in the oil, turning occasionally, until golden brown but not too soft. Season with salt and pepper. Coat the diced potatoes in the onion and bell pepper mixture and toss thoroughly. Serve as a side dish to briefly fried meat or meatballs or frikadelle.
