Octopus Carpaccio

The perfect octopus carpaccio recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Squid (Octopus sp.) Fresh meat
  • 1 Pc. Lime
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  1. Tap the octopus with a wooden spoon and then boil it in boiling water for 5 minutes. Then let it cool to wrap in cling film and freeze. Once frozen, it’s easier to cut into thin slices for serving. The vinaigrette consists of lime zest, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
