Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 180 g butter
  • 180 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar, homemade or 1 packet of Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 180 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 apple, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar, homemade or 1 packet of Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • Fat and flour for the mold
  • Powdered sugar or chocolate glaze

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Cream the butter until fluffy. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs. Combine the flour and baking powder. Mix the chopped apple with the vanilla sugar and finally stir it into the batter along with the remaining ingredients. Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan and bake at 175°C for approximately 45-55 minutes. Decorate with chocolate glaze or powdered sugar, if desired.
