Olive Relish
The perfect olive relish recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Relish
- Salad cucumber
- Chopped onion
- Green seedless olives
- Lemon thyme
- Spanish mint
- Red basil
- Brandy vinegar
- Brown sugar
- Sea salt from the mill
- Black ground pepper
- Jaegermeister

Preface
- It’s easy and rocket science. The result, however, is an enrichment for any barbecue party. This relish is a random product that arose from a bad purchase (olives that were too small). So I was thinking about the recovery of such things. The result is now a standard in my kitchen.
preparation
- Halve the olives. Cut the cucumber and onion into small cubes. Pluck and chop the herbs.

- Heat the oil in the pan. Now the olives are added first. Let them heat up in the hot pan for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add the brandy vinegar. Dilute the brew with a cup of sugared water.
- Now add the herbs and let them bubble up once.
- Mix agar-agar with liquid according to the packaging and add it to the pan. Let it simmer once.
- Take a hand blender and roughly mix everything once.
TIP
- If you like a little spiciness, add half a finely chopped green chilli pepper.
