quick and delicious American-style goulash
First, finely chop the onion and both bell peppers and fry them with a little olive oil in a large pan, large pot, or wok—everything stays in this container. Then add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Optionally, deglaze with the red wine. I omitted it because a toddler ate it—but it doesn’t affect the flavor. Once the red wine is in the pot, simmer for 5 minutes. Otherwise, add the chopped tomatoes, passata, soy sauce, spices, and two bay leaves, and pour in the water. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Finally, add the pasta and cook, covered, until the pasta is tender. If there isn’t enough liquid for the pasta, just add a little more water. Don’t forget to fish out the bay leaves at the end.
