For everyone who loves to eat pasta and has little space to cook, one-pot pasta is a good and tasty solution that can be used to implement many recipes. Find out here what a one-pot meal is and get to know some recipes.
Why are one-pot pasta recipes so easy to make?
One-pot dishes, in which all the ingredients are cooked one after the other in a sufficiently large pot, are particularly suitable for cooking in small kitchens and with few kitchen utensils and pots.
- Typically, the ingredients that take the longest to cook are cooked first and may be removed from the pot after cooking to add more ingredients.
- Another special feature of cooking in a single pot is that the noodles are also cooked together with the other ingredients. What matters here is that the water or liquid that the pasta needs to cook boils off during the cooking process instead of being drained.
- There are no limits to your choice of ingredients and you can let your imagination and taste run free. When it comes to meat and fish, you should make sure that they are types with short cooking times, such as minute steaks, chicken fillets, or shrimp.
The basic recipe for a pasta dish with tomatoes
The classic pasta with tomato sauce does not require much effort and only a few ingredients.
- For two servings you need 200 grams of cherry tomatoes, an onion, a clove of garlic, basil stalks, 200 grams of durum wheat spaghetti, olive oil, and various spices.
- First, the tomatoes are washed and cut into slices together with the onions and garlic. The basil leaves are removed from the stems.
- Tomatoes, onion, garlic, and basil are placed in a large saucepan. Add 550 milliliters of cold water, a tablespoon of olive oil, and salt and chili flakes as a spice.
- The dish is then left to cook for about 10 to 12 minutes while stirring. If the noodles are not done after this time, you can add a few tablespoons of water. Then remove the stems of the basil from the pot and add the leaves. Now the classic pasta is ready to serve.

- First, the tomatoes are washed and cut into small pieces, and the meat is washed and also cut into small cubes.
- Olive oil is heated in a high pan. The meat is seared all over and the tomatoes are also added. The mixture can be seasoned with salt, chili, and oregano.
- Then the cream is poured on with a little water, the broth is stirred and the mixture is boiled. Now the noodles are also added and the mixture is left to cook uncovered for about 15 minutes, stirring regularly.
- Finally, the parsley is chopped and the mozzarella is finely diced. Both are folded in just before the end of the cooking time. The delicious pasta dish can be served sprinkled with parsley.
