Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g bacon, cut into fine cubes
- 150 g butter, mildly soured
- 20 g onion(s), finely diced
- 1 tbsp, heaped celery leaves, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp, heaped lovage, finely chopped
- n. B. smoked salt, alternatively table salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
a MUST at every barbecue,
Fry the bacon in a pan. Add the diced onion and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until it begins to brown. Then let it cool to room temperature. Transfer to a mixing bowl and add the softened butter and chopped herbs. Blend with a mixer, then season with smoked salt and transfer to a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
