Onion and cheese tart with thyme

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g puff pastry, frozen
  • 3 onions
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 200 g cheese (goat cheese)
  • 2 stalks of thyme

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Peel the onions, halve them, and then thinly slice them. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the onions over low heat for about 15 minutes until translucent. Meanwhile, cut the puff pastry into 4 equal pieces. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the 4 pieces of puff pastry on top. Distribute the onions among the tarts and place 2 slices of goat cheese on each. Pick a few thyme leaves from the stems and scatter them over the top. Bake on the middle rack at 180 degrees Celsius for 8-10 minutes.
