Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 cube of yeast, fresh
  • 500 g flour
  • 220 ml milk
  • 50 ml oil
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 300 g bacon, streaky, diced
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 300 g cheese, grated
  • 800 g onion(s)
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Prepare the yeast dough. Roll it out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let it rise again. In the meantime, peel the onions and slice them into rings. Dice the streaky bacon and briefly sauté both in a pan. Let cool briefly. Whisk together the sour cream, eggs, and a teaspoon of salt. Pour everything onto the yeast dough and sprinkle with cheese. Place in the preheated oven (approx. 180°C). Bake for 30 minutes.
