Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Vegetarian savory muffins with puff pastry, finger food, party pastries. Makes 12.
Peel the onion and dice it fairly thinly. Sauté it in a pan for about 10 minutes and let it cool slightly. In the meantime, combine the sour cream (or sour cream) with the egg, pepper, salt, and paprika powder. Dice the feta cheese and mix it with the onions. Cut the puff pastry into 12 equal-sized rectangles, roll them out a little larger, and place them in the greased muffin tin. Remove the puff pastry from the refrigerator a few minutes beforehand to make it easier to roll out the rectangles. Spread the onion and feta mixture over the puff pastry and pour the onion mixture over it. Bake for about 30 minutes in a preheated oven according to the package instructions. The muffins are ready when the puff pastry is nicely browned. If you like, you can sprinkle grated cheese on top or use bacon instead of feta cheese. First, fry the bacon, then add the onions and fry them with the onions. If you want to save calories, you can use yeast dough instead of puff pastry. To do this, form the yeast dough into balls, roll them out, and place them in the molds.
