Onion rings in beer batter

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 ml beer
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 onions
  • e.g. oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 17 minutes

quick and easy to prepare

Mix flour, salt, eggs, and beer into a smooth batter. Peel the onion and cut into approximately 1 cm thick rings. Now dip the onion rings in the batter, then place them in oil heated to approximately 180°C and deep-fry for 2 minutes. The onion rings are perfect as an appetizer or side dish. They go well with garlic sauce or tomato ketchup for dipping.
