Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg pork neck
  • 8 onions (vegetable onions)
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp vinegar (herb vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 45 minutes

Cut the neck into 1/2 cm slices. Finely grate the onions and mix with the other ingredients and spices. Pour the mixture into a large plastic container and add the neck steaks, marinating overnight. Grill the neck slices! Serve with coleslaw, baked potatoes, and a quark, yogurt, or sour cream dip.
