Orange Chicken …

The perfect orange chicken … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 rest Grilled Chicken Breasts
  • 2 Oranges untreated
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 4 Discs Bacon cut in half
  • Seasoned pepper
  • 125 ml White wine lovely
  1. A word in advance: A whole grilled chicken is always too much meat for the two of us. That is why we have got into the habit of leaving the breasts (they are too dry for us anyway) because they can best be used to prepare another dish. So here is my variant with oranges. There are countless possibilities for completely new recipes.
  2. Cut an orange into slices and put two slices aside; Peel a few zest of the second orange and then squeeze out the juice. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the orange slices (except the ones that have been put back) on both sides until they get a little color; then place the slices in an ovenproof dish.
  4. Place the chicken breasts on top, cover with the halved bacon slices, pour the orange juice over them and sprinkle some seasoned pepper over them. Let sizzle in the oven for about 20 minutes and add the wine halfway through.
  5. Serve the orange chicken with the orange slices and sprinkle with a few orange zest and serve with butter rice.
