Christmas cookies, quick and easy to make
Cream the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Then gradually beat in the egg yolks, one at a time. Add the orange juice and orange zest and stir in. Combine the flour and cocoa powder and stir briefly. Fill a piping bag with the batter and pipe small sticks onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 8-10 minutes. While still hot, sandwich two sticks together with a little orange jelly. Then let cool. Decorate the cooled sticks with chocolate glaze and sprinkle with chopped pistachios, if desired. Makes about 25 sticks.
