Orange-Chocolate Tart

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 orange(s), grated peel
  • 1 orange(s), the juice
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch(s) of saffron
  • Butter, for the mold
  • Flour , for the shape
  • 1 pkt. pudding powder, chocolate
  • 375 ml milk
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 100 ml white chocolate, melted

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Base preparation: Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Add the orange juice and grated zest, then add the flour, cornstarch, and saffron. Mix until smooth and pour into a buttered and floured tart pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Topping preparation: Peel and segment the oranges, then cut into fine pieces. Prepare the custard powder according to the package instructions, but with 375 ml of milk. Add the butter and orange pieces to the prepared pudding and mix. Spread the pudding on the cooled base and let cool. Melt the white chocolate in a double boiler and spread it on the tart.
