Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 140 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • pinch(s) of salt
  • 100 g candied orange peel
  • 300 g flour, smooth
  • 150 ml cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • powdered sugar
  • Cocoa powder

Cream the butter with sugar, egg, vanilla sugar, and salt until creamy. Finely chop the candied orange peel (I put it in a food processor to chop it) and mix it with the flour and cream. Scoop out the dough with a teaspoon, form small balls with your hand, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (convection oven) for about 8-10 minutes. Once cooled, sprinkle with a mixture of powdered sugar and cocoa. Tip: You can also dip the underside in chocolate glaze; that’s also delicious!
