Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter
- 70 g sugar
- 2 orange(s), untreated, zest, alternatively orange peel
- 3 tbsp orange juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 egg yolk
- 200 g flour
- 70 g cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ jar marmalade (orange)
- Powdered sugar or
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Knead the flour, cornstarch, butter, sugar, orange zest and juice, and egg yolk into a smooth dough. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 180°C. Shape the dough into a log and cut into slices. Bake for about 15 minutes until light golden. Let cool. Press the orange marmalade onto two cookies each. Dust with powdered sugar and/or cocoa powder.
