Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 oranges
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 apple
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Herbs from Provence
  • Cinnamon
  • Oil for the pan

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Own creation, vegan

Peel the onions and dice finely. Peel the apple, remove the core, and also dice it. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the onions, and as soon as they begin to turn translucent, add the diced apple. Season with pepper, salt, and herbs and continue frying, stirring occasionally, until the apple pieces are soft. Meanwhile, peel the orange, removing as many of the white fibers as possible; they taste bitter in the salad. Halve the peeled orange and cut into bite-sized cubes. If the orange is still sour, you can sweeten it with sugar at this point, but this is not necessary. Add the onion and apple mixture to the oranges, mix well, and serve lukewarm to cold. The calorie information per person is calculated based on 340 kcal for the entire salad, assuming 150 g of onion, 200 g of apple, and 400 g of oranges.
