Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg orange(s)
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 6 carnations
- ½ orange(s), unsprayed, grated peel
- 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
- 1 pinch(s) cinnamon, ground
- 1 pinch(s) paprika powder
- some cornstarch (potato starch)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Recipe from Belgium
Halve the oranges and squeeze the juice. Bring the orange juice to a boil with sugar, spices to taste, cloves, and grated orange peel, then thicken with a little cornstarch. It tastes delicious with roasted poultry and game dishes.
