Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 175 g butter or margarine
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 organic orange(s)
  • 3 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 200 g flour
  • 75 g cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp orange juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Finely grate the orange peel and squeeze out the juice. Use 3 tablespoons for the batter and 4 tablespoons for the glaze. Cream the butter, sugar, grated orange peel, 3 tablespoons of orange juice, and egg yolk until fluffy. Combine the flour, cornstarch, and baking powder and stir in. Fill the batter into a piping bag and pipe approximately 4 cm long sticks onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper or greased. Bake for approximately 7-10 minutes on the middle rack at 175°C (convection oven). Then mix the icing sugar with 4 tablespoons of orange juice and brush the sticks with it.
