Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g orecchiette
  • 40 g diced ham
  • 100 g cream
  • some spring onions, cut into rings
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil for frying

Cook the orecchiette in water according to the package instructions. Heat the ham and oil in a pan and fry briefly until the ham changes color and begins to shrink slightly. Add the cream and let it simmer. Due to its ingredients, this dish is quite high in calories. If you prefer a lighter dish, you can use sour cream instead of cream. Add the orecchiette to the slightly reduced cream and ham sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper and spice up with the spring onions or herbs, if desired. Caution: Don’t add too much salt without first tasting, as the ham already releases a lot of salt into the sauce.
