Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 chicken legs
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion(s), chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger, chopped
- 2 can/n tomatoes (Pizza tomatoes) of 200 g each
- Honey
- 50 g almond flakes
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds, roasted
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
with tomatoes and almonds
Brown the chicken thighs on both sides in butter and oil. Remove from the pan and sauté the onions and garlic. Return the thighs to the pan, add the tomatoes, cinnamon, and ginger, season with salt and pepper, and simmer covered over low heat for about an hour. Season with salt, pepper, and honey. Stir in the almonds and sesame seeds before serving. Serve with baguette or couscous.
