Oriental Chickpea Pasta
The perfect oriental chickpea pasta recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 tbsp Flaked almonds
- 1 Onion red
- 3 Pitted dates
- 4 Stems Parsley
- 150 g Chickpea noodles
- Salt
- 250 g Ground beef
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 0,25 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 50 g Frozen peas
- 2 tbsp Ajvar
- 150 g Yogurt
- Bring a saucepan of salted water to the boil. Roast the almond flakes in a pan without fat until golden, then place on a plate. Cut the onion and dates into large cubes. Chop the parsley.
- Put the noodles in the boiling salted water and cook according to the instructions on the package. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the minced meat in it until light brown and crumbly. Season with salt and cinnamon. Add the onions and fry briefly.
- Add the peas, dates and ajvar and simmer for 2 minutes. Drain the pasta, collecting 100 ml of pasta water. Mix the pasta and pasta water into the minced meat. Season with salt. Arrange the oriental chickpea pasta on plates, sprinkle with parsley and flaked almonds and serve with the yoghurt.
