Original Nasi Goreng

The perfect original nasi goreng recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 800 gr Rice cooked the day before
  • 2 Pc Chopped onions
  • 3 Pc Garlic clove crushed
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp Chili Sauce (Sambal Oelek)
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce sweet
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Finely chop the onions and press through the garlic
  2. Loosen up the rice from the day before
  3. Fry the onions in the oil and briefly fry the added garlic.
  4. Add the rice and fry for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Season with soy sauce and the sambal oelek
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
