  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

super easy with fresh tomatoes

Place the halved tomatoes in a dish. Sprinkle the finely chopped herbs with oil, garlic, salt, and pepper over the tomatoes. Bake in the oven at 160°C (325°F) for 20 minutes. Dust lightly with powdered sugar and bake for another 20 minutes until browned. Remove from the oven and remove the skins from the tomatoes. This is best done by simply turning them over and peeling off the skins. Mash the tomatoes with a fork. Season everything again to taste. It tastes delicious, sophisticated, and fresh, and saves you from those sometimes annoying tomato splatters on the stovetop. If you bring the whole thing to a boil with 1/2 liter vegetable stock and 2-3 tablespoons of crème fraîche and season again, you have a delicious tomato soup.
