Oven pancakes with pear and chocolate

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 40 g butter
  • 450 ml milk, 3.5%
  • 200 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • Butter for frying
  • 5 bulb(s)
  • 8 small chocolate bars, e.g. Merci or Kinder chocolate
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 ml cream
  • 50 ml milk, 3.5%
  • 2 tbsp, heaped sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Melt the butter in a food processor for 3 minutes at 70°C/speed 1. Then add the milk, flour, and eggs and mix in a food processor for 30 seconds at speed 4. Divide the batter into 8 portions and fry in a non-stick pan (approx. 24 cm in diameter) with a little butter. In the meantime, peel and core the pears, and dice them. Grease a large baking dish. Place the first pancake on the edge, fill with the diced pear, and place a chocolate bar on top. Fold or roll up the pancake, place the next pancake next to it, and fill it again. Continue until the dish is full. For the topping, mix the egg with cream, milk, and sugar. Pour everything over the rolled pancakes and bake on the middle rack for 25 minutes. Instead of the pear filling, you can also use banana, apple, etc. Many combinations are possible. Enjoy!
