Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 8 eggs
  • 8 tbsp sugar
  • 8 tbsp flour
  • 200 ml milk
  • 200 ml cream
  • 100 g walnuts, chopped
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g chocolate
  • 100 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Pancake cake with chocolate icing and walnuts

Batter: Beat egg yolks with sugar until frothy, then add flour, milk, and cream. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in. Bake the pancakes one after the other in a pan, placing them on top of each other, always with the cooked side on the raw side. Sprinkle each pancake with chopped walnuts and vanilla sugar. Finally, melt the chocolate and butter in the microwave and pour over the cake. It’s not a visual highlight, but it’s a treat for the palate.
