Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 500 ml milk
  • 10 tbsp flour
  • e.g. beet syrup

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Whisk 3 eggs with approximately 100 ml of milk, then add the remaining milk. Stir in the flour a tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached (slightly runnier than pancakes – about 1-2 tablespoons less). Grease a cake pan, pour in the pancake mixture, and bake in a preheated oven at 130 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for approximately 20 minutes, then for another 20-25 minutes (bottom heat). Allow to cool to room temperature and garnish with beetroot syrup. If you like, you can stir grated chocolate, apple pieces, or cinnamon and sugar into the pancake mixture before baking.
