Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 250 g flour
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 500 ml milk
  • Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

quick and easy

First, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and set aside. Sift the flour into a bowl. Whisk the egg yolks, which have been well beaten with salt and a little milk, into the flour. Starting in the center, mix the egg yolks with the flour, gradually adding the milk, making sure there are no lumps. Finally, carefully fold in the beaten egg whites. Heat a little fat in a pan and add a ladleful of the batter to each pancake, allowing it to spread a little if necessary. Fry the pancakes for 2-3 minutes on each side. Then sprinkle with powdered sugar. We like to serve them with quark. Simply mix low-fat quark with cinnamon and sugar, then spread this on the pancakes, roll them up, and enjoy.
