  • 4 tbsp applesauce
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 150 ml water

  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

without sugar and egg, makes 8 – 9 pancakes

Whisk all ingredients together to form a thick batter, adding more flour or water for consistency. Heat a little oil in a pan and ladle in individual portions of batter. Cook until golden brown on both sides. This batter makes enough for 8-9 pancakes. The pancakes can be served sweetly with fruit or as a side dish to vegetable puree for very young children. Apple puree replaces the egg in this recipe. You can also use the equivalent amount of mashed banana, but the taste will be stronger. Milk can of course also be used instead of water. You can also stir in oat flakes or pieces of fruit to taste.
