Seared Ahi with Sesame Crust and Waldorf Salad

The perfect seared ahi with sesame crust and waldorf salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the Waldorf salad

  • Fresh spinach leaves
  • Blue cheese
  • Candied walnuts
  • Cranberries

For the Seared Ahi

  • 3 Pc. Tuna steak
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Olive oil
  • Sriracha sauce
  • Mayonnaise
  1. Marinate tuna steaks overnight.
  2. Put the oil in the pan and heat until it smokes.
  3. Sprinkle the tuna steaks with sesame seeds and fry them (about a minute and a half per side).
  4. For the Srirachamayo: Mix the mayonnaise and Sriracha until the color is light pink.
