Seared Ahi with Sesame Crust and Waldorf Salad
The perfect seared ahi with sesame crust and waldorf salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the Waldorf salad
- Fresh spinach leaves
- Blue cheese
- Candied walnuts
- Cranberries
For the Seared Ahi
- 3 Pc. Tuna steak
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- Olive oil
- Sriracha sauce
- Mayonnaise
- Marinate tuna steaks overnight.
- Put the oil in the pan and heat until it smokes.
- Sprinkle the tuna steaks with sesame seeds and fry them (about a minute and a half per side).
- For the Srirachamayo: Mix the mayonnaise and Sriracha until the color is light pink.
