Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 300 ml water, lukewarm
  • 21 g yeast, fresh
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 6 tsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Italian rolls with olive oil

Sift the flour and mix with the olive oil, salt, and sugar. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water and add it to the flour. Knead the dough thoroughly for about 5 minutes. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1.5 hours. Preheat the oven to 200°C. The dough is now ready to be shaped into loaves or rolls. Let them rise for another 30 minutes. Then bake the paninis in the oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
