Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g strawberries (frozen)
- 3 sheets of white gelatin
- 1 vanilla pod(s)
- 300 g whipped cream
- 50 g sugar
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- Mint, some leaves, for garnishing

The Italian classic
Thaw the strawberries. Soak the gelatin in cold water. Split the vanilla pod lengthwise. Scrape out the seeds and simmer in the cream over low heat for about 15 minutes. Then stir in the sugar. Stir the gelatin, still wet, into the cream and let cool. Pour the lukewarm cream into four rinsed glasses and refrigerate for at least three hours. Shortly before serving, puree the strawberries with the powdered sugar and pour over the vanilla cream. Serve garnished with mint.
