Paprika and minced meat pan "Polarstern Style"

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g bacon
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 4 tbsp ajvar
  • 500 ml tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 2 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, dice the garlic and onion into small cubes. Dice the bell pepper and chili pepper. Fry the bacon in a pan and brown it. Then add the minced meat and fry over medium heat until crumbly. Then add the garlic and onion and cook until translucent. Add the bell pepper and chili pepper. Add the passata and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes. Finally, add the crème fraîche, season, and bring to a boil briefly. We like to serve this with spiral pasta.
