Paprika cheese cream sauce with garlic

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 250 ml cream, fresh (30%)
  • 100g Gouda
  • some paprika powder
  • some oregano
  • some salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

as pasta sauce

Wash and trim the bell peppers and cut into small pieces. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat the garlic oil in a pan and sauté everything. After about 10 minutes, add the cream and stir in the spices. Simmer on low heat for another 10 minutes. Meanwhile, dice or grate the Gouda cheese and stir it into the sauce. Cook briefly until the cheese has melted. Keep warm on low heat. Serve with pasta or white bread.
