Paprika cream chicken

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 2 bell peppers, red
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 500 ml cream
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 150 ml vegetable stock
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces (optional), season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and arrange in a baking dish. Slice half of the peppers and place on top of the meat. Chop the remaining peppers and onion in a blender or food processor. Add the vegetable stock and cream and heat for 5 minutes, stirring regularly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir the cheese into the sauce and then pour over the meat in the baking dish. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes on the middle rack. Serve with rice.
