Paprika cream sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 70 ml cream
  • 70 ml milk
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper
  • some flour
  • some water, cold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely chop the onion and bell pepper and fry in a pan with hot oil for about 5 minutes. Then add the butter, tomato paste, cream, milk, and vegetable stock and stir well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. To thicken the sauce, whisk together a little flour and water in a small bowl until smooth and creamy. Add the cream to the pan and bring to a boil briefly until the sauce thickens.
