Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 large pork schnitzels
- 1 kg bell peppers, frozen or fresh (net weight)
- 2 onions
- ½ liter vegetable broth
- 1 cup of sweet cream
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- 4 servings of pasta, rice or potatoes (as desired)
- Paprika granules
- salt and pepper
- ½ tsp sugar
- Sauce thickener, dark
- margarine
- Broth, granulated
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Cut the pork schnitzel into small strips and season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Quickly fry the meat in a pan with margarine over high heat. Briefly sauté the frozen bell pepper schnitzel with the finely chopped onions in margarine or oil in a separate pot. Deglaze with vegetable stock and bring to a boil briefly. Simmer for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the pasta, rice, or potatoes. Add the fried schnitzel strips, cream, and tomato paste to the bell peppers and mix well. Bring to a boil briefly and thicken with a little dark sauce thickener. Season to taste with salt, pepper, sweet paprika, granulated Maggi stock, and a little sugar.
