Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 steak(s) or minute schnitzel of pork or chicken
  • 2 bell peppers, red
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 bag of gnocchi
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • oil
  • possibly sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Clean and dry the meat and place it in a baking dish, seasoning with salt and pepper. Slice the bell peppers, dice the onion and garlic, and fry everything together in a little oil for 10 minutes. Season with salt and chili, and a little sugar if desired, and pour over the meat. Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions and arrange them on top of the vegetables. Sprinkle with cheese and bake everything in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 30-40 minutes.
