Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 1 tbsp lard (alternatively oil)

Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks (like for boiled potatoes). Heat the oil, brown the onion, and briefly fry the tomato paste. Dice the bell pepper and the tomatoes, then add them to the pot with the potatoes. Deglaze with a little water (about 1/4 liter) and season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 20-30 minutes. This dish is delicious with frankfurters, wiener sausages, sliced ​​pork sausage, or chicken drumsticks.
