Ingredients

  • 250 g Butter
  • 100 ml Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Rubbed oregano
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 toe Pressed garlic
  • 125 g Grated Parmesan or Grana Padano
  • 125 g Salt / herb salt

Instructions

  • Use the whisk to whip up the soft butter, which is warm at room temperature.
  • Let the oil run in and mix in well.
  • Stir the oregano, pepper, garlic and gradually the Parmesan into the butter mixture.
  • Season with a little salt at the end.
  • This butter tastes really wonderful! I made it for my birthday and my guests loved it. We ate it on bread / rolls, but it can be used in many ways.
  • The oil ensures that the Parmesan butter can also be spread out of the refrigerator.
  • Personally, I prefer Grana Padano to Parmesan, but that's a matter of taste.
